David J. Fine received his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Yale University in 1970. In 1973, he received his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School.

After law school, Mr. Fine served in 1973-74 as a law clerk to United States District Judge John F. Dooling, Jr. in the Eastern District of New York.

From 1974 to 1976, Mr. Fine worked as an associate in the litigation department of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in New York.

Thereafter, Mr. Fine worked in Massachusetts as a principal in the following litigation firms:

Rosenberg, Baker & Fine, and successor firm, Cambridge, MA March 1976 - December 1982
Silverglate, Gertner, Baker & Fine, and successor firms, Boston, MA January 1983 - May 1993
Dangel & Fine and successor firm, Boston, MA June 1993 - July 2001.

Mr. Fine founded his current practice, Law Offices of David J. Fine, Boston, MA in August 2001.
